Review: Ponds Flawless White Re-Brightening Night Treatment

This time I want to finally publish my delayed post sharing about my night cream which I have had used for about 3 months last year (not anymore, well you can see  the result after read it), it's Pond's Flaweless White: Re-brightening Night Treatment, as you can see the image beside this text. I bought it randomly when I was hanging out with my mother and my cousin at Kings Fashion Store, Bandung. I was confused and hardly thinking about what should I use for my night treatment and my cousin suggested me this product since she has used it and found it suited her face well.

She offered me to use her cream before I decided to buy for my own, but I just smiled and answered 'It's fine, I'd buy one' so I bought it for about Rp. 70.000,00 or something (kinda forget the exact price).

I didn't look at it specifically detailed, but well if you ask me about its appearance and packaging, overall it's good, so feminine and cute - my main concern it the cream itself lol.

Sometimes, -really sometimes, I want to try dressing colorfully, wearing this boots, or that super expensive heels or wedges (ah yeah with the bag), I also want to buy all of those branded stuffs to make my day brighter. But, this one question disturbs me and halts my next step; where and when will I be able to wear them? Sadly, I'm not a model-look enough person to make it (also, don't have the confidence, sigh - even to post my outfits with face-cut on lookbook), I super feel comfy with only wearing my old shirts and jeans. To be honest, I'm not someone who loves doing photoshoots every now and then, neither someone who has a super big wardrobe and collects all high class stuffs inside it. No, no, I'm not. 

Seeing all of those glamour websites, I'm craving more and more to own them but as I rethink it over and over again: Do I really need them? My office is flexible with uniforms, my luck. But, though I'm free to wear anything, I extremely avoid skirts. Looking at my activities, it's nearly impossible for me to move with skirts, aw~ and anyway, my boss seems to like an employee with not-so-eye catching appearance at office, he doesn't want to be beaten on style taste (I like his Bvlgari perfume for real!). 

Be humble is the point. Sigh. 

So even though I have so many colorful outfits, I wouldn't be able to explore much since other people will see me as an alien and my boss will think I'm crossing his line.

At office, enough with shirts, cardigan and pants

Other than office, I go to church and malls on the weekend. I can wear many things to church, even boots but, think it like you're not about showing off at church, are you? then I will need to resist my urge to wear my boots again, ha! Then malls, I thought I can wear hot pants to mall, sexy tank top and my recent purchase boots, but.. My dear BF simply strict forbidding me by saying 'NO, change your outfits' immediately once he sees me. Argh!

Review : BB Cream Face Shop / Faceit Power Perfection

Hello, today I want to share about my experience about this BB Cream, so far this is my most favorite BB Cream, with good coverage and definitely contains magic that I've never seen before, Ha! And to be noted, this is my first BB Cream :) 

I used to use Korean’s products VOS foundation, but once I asked my mother whether should I continue to use foundation for my daily activities, she answered ‘no’. She said it blocked my pores and too heavy for my skin, though she agreed that my current foundation at that time brought a good finishing and texture for my skin. But, still she suggested me to change my choice for daily cream. She offered me her morning cream which she has used for several months and has brought good result for her.

I wondered, but suddenly I remembered about BB Cream and felt so curious to use it. Recent Eau de Toilette : Nonchalance, Dolce & Gabbana, Ricci Ricci from Nina Ricci

Hello, today I want to share about my recent purchases for Eau de Toilette. I'm not a perfume-holic, but I regularly use it, it's a habit - not an addiction. I also not buy it every now and then but when it comes to an end then I will buy a new fragrance from a different brand so I have a wide range about scent. 

I'm not a picky, I love slight smell , floral such as Jasmine and Rose are my faves, also I love vanilla scent, it's very sweet and tempting.

Review : Skin79 Super BB Cream (Hot Pink) Triple Functions

Hello there- Happy Chinese New Year for everyone, how was the party? I thought that I would be able to make this review yesterday but I was so busy with the party and all of those family gathering, so I decided to write and finish this review by today. (All the pictures were taken yesterday, but all the text were made today).

So, about this BB Cream, my cousin, -still, another my reliable source Elsye, said that this one wasn't her choice for BB Cream since it doesn't have a good rank on coverage and doesn't last so well, causing oily result for her sensitive skin. But as I read others reviews, some people might say this cream definitely lighten their skins after some period and really remove their wrinkles. Wow! I could say. I need something to help me with wrinkles and dark circles around my eyes. OMG, on my 20-something I have to fight this problems, aren't this too early??? I miss my young skin. Ugh!

Let's begin the review anyway.

My Story

Since, I'm still on my journey to find my own perfect BB Cream, I really don't have the guts to purchase all the big size packages instead the samples/sachet version. First thing first, because what would I suppose to do with the creams if it ends up  breaking my face? To be honest, none in my family is addicted with BB Creams, all of them have sensitive skins and they already found what brand suits them most. Even I re-sell it again, I don't think I have time for that.

I got this cream wasn't because I intended to buy it but my cousin offered me to try it since she had few samples left and I was so delighted to try it.

I love the sachet packaging, so lovely and cute with pink colors, it's small though and the cream itself is enough for 3-4 times usage in my case.


Cream Appearance

The nicest point is I can see that it matches my skin so well (or it looks like, it WILL automatically match your skin tone, blend perfectly). It lightens my skin a bit, really love it. As for the second picture, I used flash on the camera to see the shade, since without flash, the cream looks a bit to my skin shade.

Smelly? Yes, it contains a slight fragrance but I don't feel it's troublesome or something.

Coverage

I don't have any difficulties when applied it to my face after using my moisturizer, it's much easier to blend it. At first, I agreed that it doesn't cover anything- but after 5 minutes, I noticed the changes. It blended with my skin so well, nice coverage, didn't look so cakey and covered all my blemishes. 

But, not working best with my dark circles right away. Still had to suffer with this problems (It's not a good concealer in my opinion). 

For information, I write this review after my tenth times using this product, so I guess I've had already known the average result from this product (or I could say, for a short term).

It lasts for 4-5 hours before it will make my face so oily and I will need to blot it. But, since I've been using a finishing powder after BB Cream which made a matte look, this issue is no longer a big deal for me.

Before-After

For additional info about my skin: combination- oily in T-zones, sometimes dry, acne scars and so sensitive (but dare enough to test many products, boo!).

The left one is me, once I woke up, LOL, so not fresh. And the right one is me after I washed my face.

AFTER

And this is me after using the Skin79 Super BB Cream (Hot Pink) Triple Functions, left one is without flash, and the right one is with flash. You can see it hides my blemishes in a medium level, but not my dark circles. Uh! The coverage is awesome :)

My Rate

3 out of 5

Because, it's average for me, nothing special and after several uses, I didn't find any significant changes on my face. Not even lighten my face that much. SPF didn't work magnificently too. Will I buy? 80% nope.
